With much sadness we announce the passing of Ivan Davies G3IZD (1673).
Via QSP from John G3WGV: ” I regret to have to advise that Ivan, G3IZD/1673 passed away this morning, 27th July. He had been suffering from dementia for two years and was in a care home for the past year. He was almost 92 years old so he had a good innings. Funeral details when I have them.”
Ivan joined FOC in February 1997, and also held the callsign N3ZD. He was your Secretary of FOC from 2005-2008, and carried the President’s chain from 2011 through 2013. By and through his service, he was a stalwart of FOC, and will be missed.
