Harrogate Dinner

a.k.a FOC Northern Get-Together

The Northern Get-Together and Dinner is traditionally held on the 2nd full weekend of June. It is open to non-member guests and overseas visitors are especially welcome. You can read the whole FOC history of the Harrogate Dinner here

This is an event that John, G3WGV very kindly organised for us, having done so in many previous years, with just a gap in 2018 for our 80th anniversary celebration. Covid-19 sadly caused both the 2020 and 2021 events to be cancelled but we fully resumed in 2022.

2025 Northern Get-Together

June 13th  –  June 14th  2025

Our 2025 event will, as usual, be at the delightful Cedar Court Hotel, in the pretty town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Our organiser this year is Paul, G4AFU.

We have secured a FOC discount rate for the Cedar Court Hotel of £162 double room and £145 single room . This rate is the same for Friday and Saturday each and includes breakfast each morning. Mention the Northern FOC gathering when booking the hotel.  Read full Hotel info and directions Here

The dinner on Saturday night will commence at 7pm for 7:30pm. The dinner menu can be found here.

Roasted parsnip & Bramley apple soup (V, VE)

Dinner is £36.00 per person. Send a cheque to my G4AFU address in the yearbook or QRZ.com. Alternatively, a bank transfer to MR P G ROLLIN sort code 05-06-31 account 35466436. I have to let the hotel know the menu options by the 14th of May.

 

The lounge bar will be available for us for arrivals on the Friday and Saturday afternoon. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and is free for residents. Don’t forget to let hotel know your vehicle registration number.

 

For anyone staying on the Friday night we will have a 10 minute walk into town to a local hostelry for something to eat around 7pm.
