With regret, we announce that past member Joeke van der Velde PA0VDV (1101) is a silent key.  Joeke joined FOC in July 1970, and resigned due to health end of 2021.  This QSP from Hans PC4E:

Yesterday evening I received a message from his family that Joeke van der Velde PA0VDV FOC 1101 departed this life.  I know that he was not an active member anymore.  Joeke was one of my sponsors to get FOC membership. Mostly we had contact via dots and dashes, but also eyeball QSO’s. Joeke was a great inspirator for many Hams to promote CW Morse code.  As far as I know he had a lot of radio friends in the FOC organization and this is why I send you the message. Maybe you can make an anouncement about his passing.
